Had a leisurely wake up this morning..... well that was until I tried to get out of my sleeping bag. I recon Hudini would have had trouble trying to get out of this bag. Once out the bag, those mice that were'nt scared off already I had the pleasure of scaring off before making some tea for Dee.
She came through and sorted out accomodation for the night at The Farm Cottage which is right next door to the Forest HQ. We changed loads of our packs a bit with me taking most of Dee's heavy stuff to save her blisters but also because it was only a short walk. Belinda and Jeff were coming up to meet us at the HQ so not to far to go.
We set off through the plantation and it was not long and we popped out at the HQ. I mean it was so close we did not even have time to warm up. Once there we paid for the Woodcutters Cottage, charged this thing on a plug point in the toilet, made coffee, had a sleep, did some push-ups and sit-ups looked up and Jeff and Belinda were there.
They had brought everything except the beers and wine so we had a full re-supply for the next 6 days. We went off to Meadows, a town close by, found a bakery and I proceeded to have two of whatever was ordered. We found a bootle-o and bought the necessary, a hardware store and bought some cord for guy ropes and returned to the Farm Cottages.
Awesome little spot with fireplace, all the cooking stuff needed and best ot all a Spa-bath. We only found out later that when we pulled the plug to let the water out it came back out through the floor..... Oh well everysport has it's injury. We watched movies, drank wine and sherry, washed clothes and had a great sleep.
Now a cooked breakfast before the next leg of the journey begins.......
